Publication Process

Every manuscript submitted to the Multidisciplinary Journal of Sport (MJS) will go through several stages of the publication process to ensure the academic quality and scientific integrity of the published articles. The publication process includes the following stages:

  1. Manuscript Submission: Authors submit their manuscript through the journal system in accordance with the applicable template and author guidelines.
  2. Initial Review by Editor: The editor conducts an initial screening regarding the manuscript's alignment with the journal's focus and scope, formatting, and administrative completeness.
  3. Plagiarism Check: The manuscript will be checked using plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of the scholarly work.
  4. Peer Review Process: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will be reviewed by reviewers through a double-blind peer review process. Reviewers provide assessments and recommendations regarding scientific quality, methodology, novelty, and research contribution.
  5. Editorial Decision: Based on the review results, the editor will decide on the manuscript status, which can be accepted, accepted with revisions, resubmit for review, or rejected.
  6. Manuscript Revision: Authors are requested to make revisions based on feedback from reviewers and the editor within the specified deadline.
  7. Editing and Layout: Accepted manuscripts will undergo copyediting, proofreading, and layout processes to ensure language quality and the article's visual presentation.
  8. Article Publication: Completed articles will be published online in the designated journal issue.
  9. Indexing and Dissemination: Published articles will be indexed and disseminated across various academic platforms to enhance visibility and scholarly citations.
