Author Guidelines

General Terms

          The Multidisciplinary Journal of Sport (MJS) accepts articles from research findings, literature reviews, and scholarly studies related to the fields of sports, physical education, health, recreation, as well as other multidisciplinary fields relevant to sports and physical activity. Submitted manuscripts must be original work, have never been published previously, and are not currently under review by another journal.

Manuscript Preparation

  1. Language Manuscripts may be written in Indonesian or English using proper and correct academic language.
  2. Manuscript Format:
    • Manuscripts must be typed using Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
    • A4 paper size
    • Times New Roman font, size 12 pt
    • 5 line spacing
    • 5 cm margins on all sides
    • Manuscript length should be approximately 5,000–8,000 words, including references

Title

         The article title must be concise, clear, informative, and reflect the research content, with a maximum length of 15–20 words.

Abstract and Keywords

          The abstract must be written in a single paragraph covering the research objectives, method, results, and conclusion, with a maximum length of 250 words. Include 3–5 keywords that represent the main topic of the article.

Tables and Figures

          Every table and figure must be numbered sequentially and cited within the text of the article. Table titles are placed above the table, while figure captions are placed below the figure.

Citation and References

          MJS uses the APA Style citation format (APA 7th Edition). Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management applications such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote. References should primarily originate from recent, relevant scholarly journal articles published within the last 10 years.

MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION PROCESS

          Manuscripts must be submitted through the online submission system. Authors are required to follow all stages of the manuscript submission process and complete the necessary documents.

  1. Review Process: All manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. The editor reserves the right to reject manuscripts that do not align with the journal's focus and scope, formatting standards, or publication ethics.
  2. Publication Ethics: Authors must ensure that the submitted manuscript is their original work, free from plagiarism, and meets the standards of scholarly publication ethics. All listed authors must have made a significant contribution to the research.
  3. Revision Policy: Authors are responsible for revising the manuscript based on feedback from reviewers and the editor within the specified deadline. Delays in submitting revisions may result in the manuscript being cancelled from the publication process.
  4. Copyright : Authors retain the copyright to their published articles while granting the journal the publication rights to publish and distribute the article.
